Position Overview: Part Time Warehouse Machine Operator

We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Part-Time Machine Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain packaging and material-handling equipment, ensure smooth workflow, and uphold quality and safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Hours for this part-time position are 3-7pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually
• Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other material-handling equipment to move pallets and materials.
• Verify shipment contents against shipping documents
• Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy
• Prepare and complete shipments by processing, packing, labeling, and staging orders
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Communicate with warehouse team members and supervisors regarding order status
• Assist in inventory counts and other general warehouse duties as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of experience in warehouse shipping or a similar role
• Forklift certification preferred
• Familiarity with shipping software, scanners, and warehouse systems is a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
