Job Description
Role Overview: We are seeking a talented MicroStrategy BI Developer to design, develop, and implement robust business intelligence solutions using the MicroStrategy platform. This role involves creating interactive dashboards, reports and data visualizations that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization for the Program.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and documents.
· Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Conduct data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
· Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and user experience.
· Participate in code reviews and follow established SDLC processes.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing BI reports and applications.
Required Skills:
· 7–15 years in software development, with 4 years Relevant BI Experience
· Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
· Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schema design.
· Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy architecture, tools, and components (MicroStrategy Desktop / Web / Mobile / MicroStrategy Dossier / Visual Insight / MicroStrategy Intelligence Server)
· Familiarity with data warehousing principles and ETL processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· MicroStrategy certifications or relevant BI tool certifications.
· Experience in domains such as retail, banking, sales, or marketing analytics is a strong plus.
· Experience replatforming BI Components of MicroStrategy to Azure Fabric/Synapse/ ADF/Power BI platform will be a big plus
