Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java AWS Developer for an onsite opportunity in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS cloud technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native applications in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 12 years of experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Terraform or CloudFormation experience
• AWS Certification is a plus
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using Java and AWS
• Build scalable Microservices and REST APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
