Job Title: Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
Location: McLean, VA
Employment Type: Contract (W2)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior SDET with 12 years of experience in test automation, API testing, and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will design and develop automation frameworks, ensure software quality, and work closely with development teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills:

• 12 years of SDET/QA Automation experience
• Strong Java or Python programming skills
• Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber (BDD)
• API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle
• SQL and database testing
• Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience with Git, test automation frameworks, and defect tracking

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure)
• Performance testing using JMeter
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with Playwright or Cypress
• Banking or Financial Services domain

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks
• Create and execute UI, API, and database test cases
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Identify, track, and resolve defects with development teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews
• Improve test coverage and overall software quality
