Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile laying.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install roofing materials according to project plans.
• Set up ladders securely and operate safety harnesses to ensure safe access to rooftops at various heights.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and framing components while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses, proper ladder use, and hazard awareness.
• Support with siding installation, drywall work, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry tasks, and remodeling projects as needed on job sites.

Requirements

• Prior construction experience or background in roofing or related trades such as siding installation or drywall work is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols including the use of safety harnesses and ladder safety procedures.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting, and outdoor work environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with roofing repair techniques—metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing—and general construction site experience.
• Strong commitment to following safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment on all projects.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in restoration, framing carpentry, tile laying, or masonry tasks.
• Must have Drivers license
