RA & Associates, APC is a rapidly growing personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Texas-licensed attorney to assist with the final stages of our Texas personal injury cases. This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours, ideal for an Texas attorney looking for consistent monthly income with minimal weekly time commitment.

Position Overview:

The Texas Counsel will oversee and handle the final stage of the firm’s personal injury cases. Our internal team manages each case up until demand. At that final stage, you will review the file, approve and sign retainers as needed, review and sign off on final settlement offers from insurance companies, and ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met before closing.

You will serve as the supervising Texas attorney for these matters, ensuring compliance with Texas state law and maintaining quality control throughout the settlement and closure process.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $8,000 per month plus bonus for up to 10 hours per week (fully remote)
  • Flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve retainers for Texas personal injury clients.
  • Review final demands and settlement offers prepared by the team prior to approval.
  • Sign off on final settlements from insurance carriers.
  • Provide legal oversight on the closing stages of Texas PI cases.
  • Monitor case flow for all files under your supervision.
  • Communicate with staff regarding required corrections, updates, or final-stage instructions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate file handling within the 10-hours-per-week expectation.

Requirements:

  • Active Texas Bar License (Required).
  • 2–5 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Strong understanding of Texas PI statutes, settlement processes, and ethical obligations.
  • Ability to review case files efficiently and make sound legal decisions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $8,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Personal injury law: 2 years (Required)
  • Attorney: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Texas Bar License (Required)
