Position:
Security Installation Technician
Location:
Travel required, including overnight stays (Overnight travel is required)

What You'll Do:
- Install, Troubleshoot, Maintain, and Repair a wide range of security and tech systems, including:
- Access Control Systems
- Network Equipment
- Camera Systems
- Computers
- Gate Operators
- Phone Systems
- Travel to client locations, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology
- Work on Roofs for equipment installation and maintenance
- Install Infrastructure, including but not limited to:
- Cabling
- Mounts
- Conduit
- Structural Supports
- Power Supplies
- Control Panels
- Pull and manage trailers safely and confidently
- Bid Work & Proposals – Assist in preparing competitive bids for projects
- Client Follow-up & Sales – Foster strong relationships and close deals
- Earn Commission on successful sales and add-ons to existing installations
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work on ladders safely and confidently
- Comfortable working on roofs for installations
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs as part of installations and repairs
- Must supply your own basic tools (specialty tools will be provided by R7)
- Capable of installing infrastructure, including but not limited to cabling, mounts, conduit, and structural supports
- Know how to pull a trailer safely and confidently
- Flexible Hours: Monday through Saturday
Compensation:
- $28 - $35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
- Commission Opportunities for successful sales and add-ons
