What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retired Law Officer to rep De-Escalation Course, Big Potential position at R3Results?
Company Description
R3Results for twenty five years has successfully provided employee training for organizations such as Google, Comcast, Avis, MetLife, Rogers, as well as many medium businesses, delivering exceptional outcomes. Our course on de-escalation has been praised by top world class experts in law enforcement and negotiation.
Role Description
This is a part-time (at least to start), remote role for a Retired Law Officer (or active who can devote a couple hours per weeks) representing our acclaimed course to the law enforcement community locally and notionally. Our course was approved for 8 hours continuing professional education for officers. You would offer a free, no obligation preview of Part One of our four part course to those you know who might benefit from the superior course. Or you may reach out to others such as chiefs, POST directors, training directors, etc. You will receive 15% of the gross receipts from all sales from your introductions. That includes all referrals from your contacts, as well as future repeat sales. There's a million officers in the country. A former national training director for F.O.P. who viewed the course said, speaking for himself (not officially for the organization): "What you got is wonderful. This will be huge. You need to hire cops to represent you. Cops like talking with cops." A solid ring of truth in that! Top U.N. negotiators who dealt with warlords said: "Original and effective." A Police Offices Standards & Training director said, "I can't begin to put into words how far superior your course is to all the others I've seen."
Qualifications
- Strong background in law enforcement.
- You believe that effective de-escalation will enhance officer safety and reduce injuries and deaths.
- You like talking with fellow officers. You are not shy or hesitant to do so.
- Although you are not really "selling" anyone on anything but rather sharing what you believe is the best course on de-escalation (naturally we'll share the course with you first to make sure you agree), you have the salesperson's skills such as perserverance, follow-up, ability to envision success even though people take a long time getting back to you. You can see that efforts that may not get results immediately will take off slowly at some point, then word-of-mouth leads to a tipping point and then things really take off. For example, if you got us NYPD, your commissions would be over $700,000 on that. And our course is very reasonably priced.
- A real belief that de-escalation and community policing will help many fellow officers, save departments vast amounts by decreasing excessive force claims, and improve police - community relations.
