What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cloud AWS Engineer position at R3 Technology Inc?
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
- Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in Git version control systems.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and architecture principles.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and AI-driven operational tools.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation.
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure / GCP) is a plus.
- Prior experience working with State of Connecticut / Hartford-based clients strongly preferred.
Salary : $70 - $75
