Role Description This full-time Electrician role is an on-site position based in Saraland, AL. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local codes and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, running conduit and wiring, installing panels and fixtures, and testing systems to ensure proper operation. The role also involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing corrective repairs, and conducting routine inspections to prevent downtime. The Electrician will collaborate with project managers and other trades, maintain accurate documentation of work performed, and follow all company and regulatory safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles.
- Demonstrated skills in electrical work, including installation of wiring, fixtures, and panels.
- Experience with maintenance & repair of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying root causes.
- Relevant trade certification or journeyperson license; apprentice-level candidates with solid experience may be considered.
- Working knowledge of NEC, local electrical codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, testing instruments, and protective equipment safely and effectively.
- Reliable transportation to the Saraland, AL worksite and ability to work full-time, including occasional overtime as needed.
