Production Worker

Production Worker Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced small business environment. The successful candidate will assist with product assembly, packaging, shipping, inventory organization, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products accurately by following work instructions and quality standards.
• Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining a high level of consistency and attention to detail.
• Package finished products for shipment, ensuring orders are complete, accurate, and professionally presented.
• Prepare shipments, label packages, and assist with receiving incoming materials.
• Inspect finished products for quality and report any defects or concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Organize inventory, tools, workstations, and production materials.
• Assist with cleaning equipment and production areas as required.
• Follow written and verbal instructions carefully.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
• Identify problems or process improvements and communicate them to supervisors.
• Perform other production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or a similar hands-on environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think through production challenges.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy.
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Preferred

• Experience with packaging and shipping.
• Basic experience using hand tools and measuring devices.
• Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained).
• Experience working in a small business or team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 per hour
