R. Yoder Construction is seeking a motivated, organized, and driven Project Engineer to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who want to develop their skills and grow into a Project Management position. You'll gain exposure to every phase of commercial construction—from bidding and planning to project execution and closeout.

What You'll Do
As a Project Engineer, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to help keep projects moving forward safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with project planning, bidding, and preconstruction activities
- Coordinating project schedules, meetings, and communication between stakeholders
- Tracking project progress and helping resolve issues that arise during construction
- Preparing project documentation, estimates, invoices, pay applications, and reports
- Assisting with subcontractor and vendor coordination
- Supporting jobsite operations and ensuring project teams have the resources they need
- Participating in project meetings and following up on action items
- Assisting with bid packages, project closeouts, and administrative tasks
- Visiting jobsites to gain firsthand experience with project execution
- Supporting Project Managers and learning the skills needed to lead projects independently
What We're Looking For
- Internship, co-op, or construction experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
