Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Final Punch Technician to join our cabinet team. This role is essential in ensuring the completion of projects meets quality standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction disciplines, including blueprint reading, fixture installation, and finishing work, with experience operating hand tools, and power tools. The Final Punch Technician will collaborate closely with project managers and trades to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to identify deficiencies or areas requiring correction.
- Perform final touch-ups, including caulking, painting, and trim carpentry, to ensure a polished appearance.
- Install fixtures, cabinetry, doors, and hardware according to schematics and blueprints.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during finishing tasks.
- Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to verify accuracy of work.
- Coordinate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, masonry, and roofing to ensure seamless project completion.
- Document punch list items accurately and communicate progress with project supervisors for timely resolution.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on finishing trades such as carpentry, drywall, masonry, or related fields.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced construction environments.
- Must have a clear driving record.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
