Customer Service Representative — Ashland & Columbia
R Veterinary is looking for a warm, dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Ashland and Columbia!
In this role, you’ll be an important part of the client experience and work closely with our doctors, veterinary technicians, and support team to keep each day running smoothly.
You’ll be the friendly face clients see when they walk through the door, the voice they hear on the phone, and an important part of helping their pets receive the care they need.
Schedule:
- Mondays: Columbia
- Tuesdays & Wednesdays: Ashland
- Part-time, approximately 3 days per week
What you’ll do:
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones and help clients with questions
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient visits
- Communicate with doctors and veterinary staff throughout the day
- Help keep the front desk organized and the day moving smoothly
- Handle client check-in and check-out
- Assist with records, payments, and other administrative tasks
- Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every client who walks through our doors
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with people and pets. You don’t need to know everything about veterinary medicine on day one. We’ll teach you what you need to know.
The right person will be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, communicating clearly with both clients and coworkers, and staying calm and kind when the day gets busy.
Veterinary experience or previous customer service experience is helpful, but we’re especially interested in someone who understands that great client service starts with listening, caring, and following through.
