Summary
R-Tech is accepting internal applications for a Manufacturing Team Leader to support daily operations across Press, Burn, Material Handling, Saw, and Bevel. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating workflow, maintaining safety and quality standards, and providing clear direction on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily work assignments and priorities across assigned work centers
- Ensure team members remain productive and follow safety and quality standards
- Address minor issues directly and escalate concerns to the Supervisor as needed
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Support training and onboarding of new and existing employees
- Communicate production, staffing, or equipment issues to leadership
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required
- Post-secondary technical training, apprenticeship experience, or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
Minimum Qualifications
- Current R-Tech employee in good standing
- Demonstrated reliability and acceptable attendance
- Experience in one or more of the assigned work centers
- Ability to communicate clearly and lead by example
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple shop areas (Press, Burn, Saw, Bevel, Material Handling)
- Prior experience as a lead operator, trainer, or informal go-to resource
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to redirect peers and escalate issues appropriately
Additional Expectations
- Lead by example in safety, attendance, and conduct
- Work collaboratively with Supervisors and Managers
- May be required to support day or night shift coverage as needed
