Senior Fabricator

SENIOR FABRICATOR – Seeking team-oriented shop fabricator with experience in stainless steel and hot roll steel fabrication and layout. MIG welding, and working with brakes, shears, water jet and plasma and roll equipment skills needed. Must be able to complete a fabrication job from start to finish is not assembly line work. Blueprint reading and layout skills are required. At least 5 years’ experience is needed. Stable work with excellent benefits. Health Ins. After 90 days. Capital Blue covers your health and dental insurance, 401K after 6 months with 4% company match, two weeks’ vacation to start, 8 holidays, time and a half after 40 hours and Saturdays, double time for Sundays and triple time for holidays, overtime is always available, safety bonuses and flex hours during the week. Starting pay between $30 - $35 per hour DOE. Weekly pay, must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment. Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Operate plasma cutting machines, power tools, and hand tools to shape and form materials.
• Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards for safety and quality.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize fabrication processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in plasma cutting, stick welding, and other welding methods.
• Strong understanding of codes and standards related to metal fabrication.
• Experience in fabricating sheet metal components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Skilled in the use of various power tools such as breaks shears, water jet, plasma cutter, roll equipment and hand tools for metalworking.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues effectively.
