Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and floor care to maintain a polished appearance
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold hygiene standards
- Carry out custodial responsibilities across multiple areas, ensuring all spaces are organized and sanitary
- Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to deliver high-quality results
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution
- Support industrial cleaning projects when required, including specialized cleaning procedures for large-scale or heavy-duty environments
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supply inventories to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and general facilities maintenance
- Experience with residential painting or related maintenance tasks is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
