Job Title: ServiceNow Integration Developer
Summary
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Integration Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems. The role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, integration patterns, APIs, and automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and Web Services.
- Develop custom scripts, business rules, workflows, and transform maps to support integration requirements.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and Spokes.
- Work with stakeholders to understand integration needs and translate them into technical design specifications.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize and enhance existing integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure secure data exchange following best practices, encryption standards, and governance policies.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades by validating and remediating integration impacts.
- Maintain documentation including technical design, data mapping, integration architecture, and operational guides.
- Work collaboratively with ServiceNow Administrators, Developers, and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in ServiceNow development with strong focus on integrations.
- Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth, Basic Auth, API authentication, and Scripting (JavaScript).
- Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Spokes, and MID Server.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB, discovery, ITSM, and related ServiceNow modules.
- Experience building scalable, secure, and reusable integration frameworks.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTTP, HTTPS, CORS, certificates).
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and data transformation.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Good to Have
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or IntegrationHub certifications.
- Experience with ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or other advanced ServiceNow applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP for integration scenarios.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) for ServiceNow environment management.
