Overview - Food Truck Food
Seeking a dynamic individual looking to learn both sides of the food truck service from taking customer orders to finishing orders out the window. We make 'Scratch-made' comfort food for our patrons.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting food preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of food safety.
The best candidate can roll with the pace (high volume at times) and is eager to learn how things are done from a long-time professional chef. You can take directions and are self-starter eager to keep things moving, stocked, and clean.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and service equipment
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods and special events
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, including restaurant or fast food is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Background in hospitality or the food industry demonstrates adaptability and teamwork skills
Must be able to pass or possess a food handler's permit by start date.
Hours may vary: Typical shift is 4p to 8p Wed - Sat, Sun 12-5; hourly wage tips
Pay: From $17.25 per hour
