Role Description The Electrical Panel Builder is a full-time, on-site role based in Stafford, TX. This position is responsible for assembling and wiring electrical panels according to schematics, diagrams, and work instructions, ensuring compliance with company and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include mounting components, routing and terminating wires, performing mechanical assembly, and using hand and power tools to build panels and enclosures. The Electrical Panel Builder will inspect and test completed assemblies, troubleshoot basic issues, and collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet project deadlines and quality targets. This role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area and following all relevant safety and explosion protection procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform precise panel wiring and electrical terminations, including reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical and mechanical assembly work.
- Experience with mechanical assembly of electrical panels, enclosures, and related components.
- Basic soldering skills for electrical connections where required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical or industrial technology is beneficial.
- Previous experience in electrical panel building, industrial controls, or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to follow standardized procedures and safety guidelines.
