Job description
As a Packer, you will be a part of our product manufacturing team. This role is responsible for leading and assisting in packaging the finished products by following company guidelines and packaging procedures. Responsibilities include safety, quality control, quality testing, proper documentation, and productivity. Performance is evaluated on your ability to efficiently and continuously keep flow with the machine run, ensuring quality products are produced in appropriate quantities and within established guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect finished product for defects or blemishes
- Box products and ensure boxes are appropriately taped
- Stack finished goods or containers onto pallets
- Conduct and document product quality checks and issues. Regular checks and documentation of that activity are required of our online acceptance quality system
- Work in a safe manner
- Move, handle, bag, and box product
- Fill out all necessary production and inspection documents
- Perform housekeeping tasks by keeping the machines and surrounding areas clean to maintain a safe and sanitary work area
- Other duties as assigned
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Age 18 years or older
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Some manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds /reach/stretch
- Able to push/pull with/without assistance
- Basic math and reading skills
- Able to perform manual and repetitive tasks and work in a high-speed environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to understand written and spoken English
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Has a passion for customer delight
