We're seeking a motivated Operations Manager to lead and oversee our landscape maintenance division at this new branch.
Position Overview
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the landscape maintenance teams, ensuring services are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to manage staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction across all accounts in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily landscape maintenance operations including scheduling, routing, and quality control.
- Supervise, train, and support production managers, crew leaders, and field staff.
- Ensure all work meets company standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Monitor labor and material costs to maintain profitability and productivity.
- Coordinate with account managers to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
- Manage fleet and equipment assigned to the branch, ensuring proper maintenance and readiness.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of field staff.
- Implement and enforce company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Support branch growth through operational efficiency and client retention.
- Communicate effectively with upper management regarding branch performance, staffing, and resource needs.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in commerical landscape maintenance operations or related field.
- 2 years in a supervisory or management role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, equipment, and horticulture standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with scheduling, time tracking, and job management software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Experience with snow removal operations
- Degree or certification in horticulture, landscape management, or related field preferred.
- Pennsylvania Commercial Pesticide Applicators License
