Duties
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscape maintenance technicians to execute lawn care, planting, pruning, and groundskeeping activities with precision and professionalism
- Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and other horticultural elements to maintain healthy landscapes and recommend appropriate care strategies
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and company vehicles safely and efficiently during outdoor work activities
- Oversee safety protocols for outdoor work environments to ensure crew members follow best practices in equipment operation and landscape maintenance procedures
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping roles with a strong background in lawn care, horticulture, or gardening
- Hands-on experience with landscape installation including plant identification, and pruning techniques.
- knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently in outdoor environments
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment
- Outdoor work experience across various weather conditions with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Familiarity with maintenance practices and grounds maintenance best practices is preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
