What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerial Lineman position at R ROESE CONTRACTING?
Looking to hire experienced Aerial Lineman for the placement of telecommunications cable.
Qualification & Responsibility Highlights:
- Knowledge of aerial cable installation procedures including placement of poles & anchors
- Perform aerial tasks such as new cable installs, pole transfers, strand building, cable hanging, lashing, etc.
- Perform construction work such as digging holes, placing cable, air pipe & inner duct in various types of conduit systems
- Ensure all installation work is done according to quality standards
- Ability to read & understand prints/maps
- Knowledge using various tools & equipment i.e., bucket trucks, diggers, excavators
- Able to perform strenuous physical labor in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Applicants must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. No DUIs/OWIs within the previous 5 years. Must be available on weekends & evenings for call outs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
