R&R Tool, Inc. is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance department at our Blanchester location. R&R Tool, Inc. is a contract manufacturing shop located in Blanchester, Ohio that specializes in medical manufacturing with tight-tolerance precision parts.
Summary:
Maintenance manager oversees the maintenance of buildings and mechanical systems within the buildings and controls the installation, repair, and upkeep of Company property and at the same time helps keep a clean and safe working environment for all employees and supervises the Maintenance Department.
Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Direct the maintenance program and processes of the plant to ensure timely and effective production.
- Coordinate with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new equipment installation.
- Oversee facilities design and inspection, equipment repair and installation.
- Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees in the maintenance department.
- Coordinate maintenance work performed by outside vendors.
- Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates.
- Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of company equipment, parts and buildings.
- Control and monitor maintenance inventory.
- Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff.
- Implement safety policies and procedures for the department and company that at a minimum, ensure OSHA requirements are met.
- Assist in any other tasks management deems necessary.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- 10 years’ experience in maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics.
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Recognize and respond to potential problems.
- Work under moderate supervision.
