Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Execute laundry services such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Maintain outdoor areas by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, raking leaves, planting flowers, and performing general yardwork to enhance curb appeal.
- Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture, appliances, or outdoor equipment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure hygienic environments.
- Manage residential housekeeping duties including organizing spaces, managing supplies, and ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs or special requests while providing friendly customer service.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, equipment operation (vacuum cleaners, floor buffers), and surface sanitation techniques.
- Skilled in floor cleaning methods including mopping, sweeping, polishing, and carpet extraction.
- Ability to perform outdoor yardwork such as lawn mowing, gardening, pruning plants, and outdoor debris removal.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple properties.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
- Experience with housekeeper management or coordinating multiple cleaning projects is a plus.
