Position Title: Driver Direct Care Staff Hybrid
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Full/Part-time: Full-Time
Shift: Varies
Starting Hourly Range: $15.00-$16.00/hr
Signing Bonus: $250 paid at completion of 90-days of consecutive employment
R&R Loving Hands, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Driver Direct Care Staff Hybrid position along with several Direct Care Staff positions. We are looking for experienced individuals in Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a group home, medical, psychiatric, nursing or childcare setting or working with persons with a developmental disability.
- 1 year of transporting experience.
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record (Must obtain DMV driving records)
- Effective communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- 3-4 years of group home or medical experience with individuals with disabilities
- At least 2 years of transportation experience
Responsibilities:
- Driver:
- Drive Company Vehicle.
- Drivers are required to inspect the exterior and interior of the vehicle at the beginning of every shift. Drivers must check for operating head lights, turn signal lights, interior courtesy lamps, air conditioner or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustment, tires, windshield wipers, and check the vehicle for damages.
- Drivers must inform supervisor of any vehicle malfunction.
- Assist passengers in and out of the vehicles and other courtesies.

- Responsible for the care of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a care provider, you will help others lead a meaningful life and become as independent as possible. These services are provided in the group home setting and in the community. Some of the responsibilities include:
