The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role combines hands‐on mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance work to minimize downtime and support continuous production.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role combines hands‐on mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance work to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance — Perform routine and emergency repairs on production machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, and related systems.
- Preventive Maintenance — Execute scheduled PM tasks, document findings, and recommend improvements to reduce breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting — Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using proper tools and testing equipment.
- Safety Compliance — Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures; participate in safety audits and corrective actions.
- Documentation — Accurately record work performed, parts used, and equipment status in the maintenance system.
- Ordering - Place orders for parts as needed
- Collaboration — Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
- Technical Experience — 3 years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Welding Skills — MIG/TIG welding or fabrication experience.
- Mechanical Skills — Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, belts, gearboxes, and alignment.
- Electrical Knowledge — Ability to work with 120V–480V systems, read schematics, and safely troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Tool Proficiency — Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Reading & Interpretation — Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical diagrams.
- Physical Requirements — Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in varied environments.
