Machine Operator

Since the production of its first corrugated box in 1968, R & R Corrugated Packaging Group has established itself as a leader of corrugated converting operations in New England. We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at R & R Corrugated Packaging Group, a leading manufacturer of high-quality boxes and packaging solutions. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process by ensuring our machines operate efficiently and produce products that meet our quality standards. We want you to come in and learn our environment, learn our business.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machines used in the production of boxes
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary to optimize production output.
• Perform regular quality checks on produced boxes to ensure they meet specifications regarding dimensions, print quality, and material integrity.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic repairs when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the packaging or paper industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and production schedules.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills to operate machine interfaces and input production data
