R&P is looking for a professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need an Acquisition Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of PMS 300/325 - a Navy Ship Building Program.
Apply Deptartment of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DoN) acquisition policies while supporting program management and logistics. Prepare and maintain acquisition, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), shipping, transportation and logistics documents; develop briefings and reports; coordinate meetings; track actions and shipments; and draft responses. Support program, milestone, gate, shipbuilder, logistics, post-award, and foreign-customer reviews. Prepare shipment records, transportation, logistics reports, briefings, minutes, and follow-up documentation.
- 3 years in program, technical, business, acquisition, or logistics management
- 5 years supporting DoD/DoN programs, contracts, or acquisition is preferred
- Prefer prior military or industry experience in FMS, including shipping, transportation, logistics tracking
- Experience producing shipping, logistics, acquisition, briefing, meeting, and action-item documentation
- Knowledge of DoD/DoN acquisition and contracting processes; Navy shipbuilding and senior-leadership communication experience preferred.
