CDL Bucket Truck Operator / Aerial Trimmer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL Bucket Truck Operator / Aerial Trimmer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts to perform precise tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks while adhering to strict safety protocols. Your expertise in arborist rigging techniques, tree care, and landscape maintenance will contribute to maintaining healthy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments. Duties

• Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts to access high branches for trimming, pruning, and tree removal projects
• Use rigging techniques to safely dismantle or prune trees, ensuring minimal impact on surrounding areas
• Perform plant pruning care, tree trimming, and tree care activities following industry best practices
• Conduct rigging operations for large or hazardous tree sections using arborist rigging techniques
• Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning work sites effectively
• Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general landscaping as needed
• Follow all safety protocols diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure team safety

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating bucket trucks and aerial lifts
• Proven experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial equipment in outdoor environments
• Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal methods, and tree care practices
• Familiarity with GIS mapping tools and landscape maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate chainsaws and other landscaping tools safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights and around heavy equipment
• Experience in horticulture, dendrology (study of trees), or related outdoor work fields preferred
• Excellent plant pruning care skills and growing experience in landscape or tree care settings
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
