Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office Three Days Per Week; Remote Work Two Days Per Week
Starting Salary: $75,000-90,000, depending on experience
R.O.I. Properties is seeking a Full Time, Experienced, Litigation Paralegal. The successful candidate will be an organized team player, who is able to work independently and collaboratively, while being efficient, detail-oriented, highly organized and conscientious. He or she must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), who is resourceful, and can multitask with ease, while having fun.

R.O.I. Properties is an award-winning, team-oriented, Phoenix-based, full-service Residential and Commercial Real Estate Brokerage firm. Since its formation in 2003, R.O.I. has been involved in the acquisition, lease, and sale of over 6,500 properties. R.O.I. serves as Court-Appointed Real Estate Special Commissioner/Broker on numerous matters, and has completed 350 of such appointments to date. We are seeking an organized Litigation Paralegal, who can operate with ease, in a fast-paced environment, work independently and collaboratively, and be efficient, detail-oriented, and conscientious. This individual must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), resourceful, detail-oriented, and motivated to empower others to achieve their best!
Schedule:
This is a full time position, at our office, located in the Camelback Corridor in Phoenix, with remote work possible, two days per week, after completion of training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, analyzing, drafting and calendaring pleadings related to the sale of real property in court authorized proceedings in civil, family law and probate matters.
- Drafting purchase and sale agreements, counter offers, other contract documents, title/escrow and/or closing documentation, for the sale of real property.
- Facilitating communication between parties and or their attorneys
- Assisting in the negotiation of contract documents;
- Reviewing and analyzing title reports;
- Monitoring transactions, court dockets, and hearing status for pending cases;
- Research and investigation of real property documentation, including deeds, liens and encumbrances, notices of trustee’s sale, association matters, leases, corporate documentation, etc;
- Providing internal sales support to CEO/Designated Broker and Asset Managers;
- Drafting communications;
- Participate in meetings with staff, and periodic meetings and court hearings, with clients and counsel;
Qualifications:
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with strong computer skills;
- Experience handling and drafting pleadings and real estate transactions, disclosures, and compliance documents;
- Highly organized and detail-oriented;
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong problem-solving ability and proactive case and transaction tracking;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
- Bachelor’s Degree
