What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Carbide Grinding(1+yrs) Machinist position at R & M Machining Co. Inc.?
- Experience Carbide Grinding Mill, Lathe, CNC and machining
- Experience in Programming of CNC
- At least 1yr Experience Required
- Use of Centerless, Surface, OD Manual, OD Trutech, Ram EDM, Wire EDM, Manual lathe, CNC lathe, CNC programming, Blanchard, Manual I.D, Manual Mill.
- Ability to adjust, and operate assigned production equipment, using both automated equipment and manual placement, while achieving goals for quality, efficiency and productivity
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Manufacturing and shipping zero-defect products on-time
- Ability to perform quality control checks
- Strong mathematical skills
- Great communication skills
- Team environment and commitment to improvement and continuous learning
- Attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Technical drawings and tolerances
- Be able to use and understand measurement equipment (micrometers, calipers etc.)
- Organized, can keep a clean work area
- Good attendance record is required
- 90 day probation
