Job Summary
R&M Drywall, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings (ACT), insulation, and specialty ceiling projects throughout the DMV.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from award through closeout, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, financial awareness, and the ability to build lasting relationships with general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial drywall and metal framing projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of work.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
- Process RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and material procurement.
- Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, deliveries, and field operations.
- Attend project meetings and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, and field personnel.
- Track project costs, labor productivity, and profitability.
- Prepare monthly billings and assist with project forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and safety requirements.
- Work closely with estimating, accounting, superintendents, and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- 3 years of Project Management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, or commercial interior construction.
- Strong understanding of commercial drywall systems, light gauge framing, acoustical ceilings (ACT), insulation, and specialty ceilings.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects from award through closeout.
- Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of project budgets, forecasting, change orders, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a commercial drywall subcontractor.
- Experience with Foundation Construction Accounting Software.
- OSHA 30 Certification (preferred but not required).

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
