What are the responsibilities and job description for the Countertop Installer position at R&M Construction?
We are looking for a lead countertop Installer who is self motivated and is ready to work as a team player. We have lots of work and are in the process of growing our 4 man 2 truck install crew due to high demand of installs. We like to keep our crews together but there are times where we need a truck with 2 guys to go handle a install by themselves and be able to handle minor modifications or troubleshoot a problem on site.
Requirements
Must have a valid Driver's Liscence
Have transportation to the shop
Be able to show up on time ready to work
Be able to put all seams together (Hand, 90°, Euro, and Miter)
Be able to use a Angle grinder and cut and polish proficient
Be able to caulk with wall caulking and silicone.
Be able to lift Islands and other awkward pieces with one other person (we almost always have and extra guy to help)
How We Operate
We typically start at 7:30 Mon - Fri, you just need to drive to the shop we take our trucks to and from.
You are a 1099 which means you get strait pay no taxes taken out.
We have carry clamps, carts, wheels, gorilla seam setters and various other tools to make our jobs easier and go more efficiently.
We use Integra or Big Dawg color match seam glue for all seams to get the best color. We rarely make our own glue color but have tint kits to do so.
Quality is the number one focus no matter what.
