What you’ll do
- Conduct detailed land surveys using advanced equipment such as GPS, 3D scanners, and Total Stations.
- Prepare accurate schematics and maps utilizing software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
- Perform ALTA surveys to determine property boundaries and ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Collaborate with civil engineers to develop project plans that meet both technical specifications and client needs.
- Collect and analyze data to create comprehensive reports that inform project decisions.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools like ArcGIS for spatial analysis and data management.
- Draft plans that incorporate geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and other mathematical principles to ensure precision.
- Engage in construction staking to guide contractors in executing projects according to design specifications.
Basic qualifications
