R L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Linehaul Dispatcher to work at our Tonawanda, NY Service Center. The chosen candidate will provide a variety of executive administrative functions to support the Owner and Executive Leadership Team of R L Carriers in a professional and timely manner, which includes but is not limited to the following:
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing geographical specific plans to insure service standards are achieved in the most economical means possible.
- Direct the use of Purchased Transportation and Intermodal
- Coordinate LCV lanes in geographical areas.
- Reduce partial and empty dispatches by managing freight flow and resources.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience and education a plus!
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Experience using PC, Database and Mainframe applications.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
