Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Commercial Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations at commercial construction sites. The Superintendent will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. This role is critical to coordinating subcontractors, supervising field personnel, and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily field operations on commercial construction sites.
• Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, equipment, and materials to ensure timely project completion.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor quality and progress.
• Identify and resolve issues that may affect the schedule or budget.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, logs, and updates.
• Ensure all work is completed to company and client standards.
• Attend and lead job site meetings as necessary.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a supervisory role on commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred or required depending on company).
• Proficiency with construction management software and digital reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
