R L Carriers has an immediate need for a Check in Clerk to work at our Kansas City, KS Service Center. Responsibilities will include answering calls on a multi-line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may apply as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
- Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
- Dependable and well organized
- Must be computer literate
- Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
Basic knowledge or Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products
Preferred:
2 years of experience as a clerk or similar role
Freight logistics experience
