Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Operations & Logistics Coordinator to manage outbound shipments, order processing, and day-to-day logistics execution for major retail customers. This is a hands-on, in-office role working closely with warehouses, carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
This position plays a key role in supporting customer service levels and keeping shipments moving smoothly in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all outbound shipments for major customers, including pickup scheduling, routing, and ongoing communication
- Obtain freight quotes and manage all carrier interactions (LTL, truckload, and customer-arranged pickups)
- Handle refused loads, overages/shortages/damages (OS&D), and related warehouse communication
- Respond to warehouse and customer inquiries regarding pallet counts, TI/HI configurations, case counts, labeling, and delivery requirements
- Process customer orders and support EDI order flow and invoicing within NetSuite
- Monitor in-transit shipments, track deliveries, obtain PODs, and confirm delivery completion
- Support Customer Service on an as-needed basis to resolve order- and delivery-related issues
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on freight claims
- Act as a key internal problem-solver and cross-department liaison between operations, customer service, sales, and logistics partners
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, customer operations, or supply chain coordination
- Experience working with freight carriers, warehouses, and 3PLs
- Familiarity with TI/HI, pallet builds, and retailer delivery requirements
- ERP experience required (NetSuite preferred)
- EDI exposure preferred (850/810/856)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
