R&K has the opportunity to provide financial and contract management support to the Government for the Technical Acquisition Support Services Contract (TASSC) III in support of the SLD 45/Program Management Division (SLD 45/PMD) and Space Launch Delta 45 Contracting Squadron (SLD 45/CONS). The TASSC III team provides cross-functional integration, contract and financial management and administration, and provides maintenance contract management and technical expertise in contract administration, financial analysis, and database management.

R&K is seeking a Full-Time Contract Specialist.

Note: This position is contingent upon award

Title: TASSC III Financial Analyst

Locations: Patrick Space Force Base, FL and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL.

Duration: Permanent/Full-Time

Clearance: Active SECRET clearance

Start Date: 9 September, 2025, contingent on award

Duties: The successful candidate shall serve as the primary point of contact for contract actions for the TASSC III contractor team. The TASSC III Contract Specialist shall successfully execute all contract requirements in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This individual is tasked with providing oversight of contract performance and ensuring program objectives are met in accordance with cost, schedule, and quality standards. The individual will provide inputs to strategic guidance, support the management of resources, conduct contract actions, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

The candidate shall:

• Assist with contracting requirements to include soliciting, evaluating, determining a negotiating position, and awarding contracts.
• Assist with analysis of cost or price proposals.
• Assist with developing acquisition documents and managing procurements.
• Track program/project status and schedules; apply policies and procedures for financial planning; schedule and coordinate meetings, agendas, boards; analyze program requirements, status, budget and schedules; perform program management, technical, or business case analyses; participate as a member of and/or support the specified MPCO (Mission Partners Capability Office) and MPCO-directed business meetings; collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating the tasks and team being support; draft presentations in various formats to present results of analysis; and support meeting with BCOs and other MPCO contract support personnel.

Requirements: The candidate shall meet the following qualifications:

• Knowledge and Experience with Federal Contracting Principles, Laws, and Statutes; DoD acquisition; applying supplements, including the FAR to acquisition processes.
• Experience in assisting in the development of acquisitions strategies based on market research and solicitations with selection criteria or instructions to enable contract award to satisfy customer requirements.
• Experience within a component of DoD and procurements including cost or price analysis, negotiations, and preparation of contract documentation for services, supplies, and IT acquisitions.
• Must have supported AF (Air Force) source selection and major sole source procurements.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working with the Government.
• At least four (4) years of experience related to Contract Specialist work and four (4) years of DoD Contract Specialist experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and SharePoint; effective in written and oral communication; ability in working independently with initiatives, problem solving, working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
• Active Secret Clearance
