Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Liquor Store Clerk in Glenview, IL. The Liquor Store Clerk will be responsible for assisting customers with product selections, processing sales transactions, restocking shelves, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, and ensuring compliance with store policies and alcohol regulations. Additional responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service and assisting in training new team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for assisting customers and creating a positive shopping experience
- Experience in Retail Sales and Organization Skills to ensure proper product presentation and inventory management
- Ability to provide training and guidance to new team members
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Must be at least 21 years old, as required by alcohol sales regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
