Role Description The Assistant Wrestling Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Winston-Salem, NC, supporting the wrestling program under the direction of the Head Wrestling Coach and athletic department. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Wrestling and Wrestling Coaching skills, with knowledge of techniques, rules, and match strategy.
- Candidates should possess Coaching and Training skills to design effective practices, develop athletes safely, and support varied skill levels.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with student-athletes, families, colleagues, and administrators.
- Prior experience coaching at the high school or youth level, or competitive wrestling experience, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to serve as a positive role model, uphold school policies, and contribute to an inclusive and respectful team environment.
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, equipment, and meet preparation, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as required by the season.
