Responsibilities
- Conduct backflow prevention device testing in accordance with local regulations and ASME codes & standards
- Install, repair, and maintain sprinkler systems, including pipe fitting, tube bending, and system troubleshooting
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to complete precise installations and repairs
- Inspect systems for leaks or malfunctions using mechanical knowledge; document findings thoroughly
- Maintain safety protocols on construction sites
Requirements
- Proven experience in sprinkler work with a focus on maintenance, repair, and installation.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools, power tools, calipers, tube bending equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes or system specifications
- Ability to work safely in confined spaces; comfortable on construction sites.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Validation Idaho Backflow Tester License required
- Ability to work as a team and work across service, install, and repair projects
- Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and office staff
