Job Type: Part-Time, Independent Contractor
Pay: $12-$18 USD per hour, based on relevant experience
Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours. Candidates must be available to coordinate working hours with our California-based team (Pacific Time Zone).
There are no country-specific location requirements. We are looking for qualified professionals with construction bookkeeping experience and proficiency in QuickBooks Online, regardless of where they are based.

R.J. General Builders, Inc. is a California-licensed general contractor specializing in residential remodeling. Our projects range from smaller renovations to large, complex remodels involving multiple trades. We're a small team that values clear communication, keeping our commitments, and doing right by our clients.
We're looking for someone who can keep our books, project information, and day-to-day administrative work organized. You'll work closely with the person who currently manages many of these responsibilities, and with the company owner. You'll have time to learn how the business operates, then take ownership of recurring tasks and suggest better ways to manage them.
This is a remote role. You'll meet regularly with the California team by video, communicate primarily by email, and coordinate working hours that allow for overlap. The exact schedule has not been set.
