We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator. THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION from 3:30pm-1:00am Monday through Friday. Must be able to work Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Load and unload concrete products from trucks using a forklift
- Pick, package, and stage orders for shipment
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory and storage locations
- Perform daily forklift inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Assist with general plant operations and other assigned duties
- Work effectively with team members in a collaborative environment
- Adhere to all company policies, work rules, and operating procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and procedures
- Perform the physical requirements of the job, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, climbing, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred, but training provided
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, including overtime as needed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
