What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer position at R. Higgins Interiors?
Residential Interior Designer Needed: please note the salary range is based on work experience
Must have 5-7 years experience in this field NON-NEGOTIABLE
Must have experienced knowledge of AutoCad
Based in Nashville NON-NEGOTIABLE
Job Duties
- Assisting on projects with Principal Designers and all associated tasks ;
- Scheduling / following up with vendors
- Assisting with selections ( based on project scope)
- Creating schedules for vendors / paint, drapery, wall paper etc.
- Scheduling client meeting / contractor meetings
- Creating the proposals and orders for items in projects
- Creating CAD drawings ( elevations, furniture plans, space planning etc.)
- Project management
-Ability to manage vendors at residential installs and problem solve quickly
- Pricing out selections
- Create client binders and managing documentation involved with project
- Being prepared for all meetings and installs ;
- Preparing the pull sheet for warehouse to deliver for install , having necessary items needed for install
- Entering time / billing
-Ability to use basic Excel sheets for project budgeting purposes
- checking client invoices for accuracy before release
- Assisting/ scheduling/attending for Market trips/ Atlanta / High Point
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
