Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician and heavy equipment operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with various tools and equipment to ensure that landscapes are healthy, well-maintained, and visually appealing.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Dig, plant, and irrigate flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
• Execute snow plowing duties during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
• Build and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct regular groundskeeping activities to keep outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
• Monitor plant health and apply appropriate care techniques to ensure optimal growth.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment is essential.
• Ability to dig, plant, irrigate, and perform general lawn care tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
