What You'll Do
As a Deli Clerk, you’ll help deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and safe deli environment:
- Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
- Prepare and serve food according to Freshies® recipes and food standards
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked deli area
- Receive and verify deliveries (check quality, accuracy, and invoices)
- Track deli and food safety information using handheld or paper systems
- Handle customer concerns and communicate issues to management
- Follow all company policies for cleaning, food prep, and safety compliance
- Use approved products and equipment for food preparation and sanitation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in food service, deli, restaurant, or retail is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
