ASM - WINE DIVISION

About This Role

In this position, you will manage, train, and develop new and current salespeople under your team. Develop key relationships in your assigned accounts. and maintain a management call frequency on them as well. Conduct weekly sales meetings with your sales teams and aggressively participate in sales and merchandising incentives and special programs. You will need to have Management experience to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Foster positive relationships with store managers/owners and provide superior customer service.
• Prepare and present marketing support tools available to the sales force.
• Coordinate and implement the local execution of national and geographic marketing plans.
• Develop relationships to grow market share in segment.
• Participate in Team Selling with Sales Reps.
• Handle customer/retailer issues of local trends, company direction and community needs.
• Perform business analysis and use information in identifying additional opportunities.
• Plan for weekly sales meetings and participate in presenting materials.
• Plan and execute special events/promotions.
• Assist General Manager in meeting KPI's.
• Monitor and coach on placing new products in assigned accounts. with sales team.
• Do weekly “Ride Withs” with each salesperson.
• Adhere to the applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of products.
• Promptly communicate critical account information to the General Manager.
• Promote company safety policies and programs and ensure compliance to your sales team.
• Perform all other duties as required by Management.

Position Requirements

• Sales: 3 years minimum previous sales experienced
• Craft Beer Knowledge: Medium
• Age: 21
• Travel Amount: High
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position: Bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.
• Required Language: English
• Technology: Highly Efficient
• Job Shift: Day
• Able to work weekdays, weekend, and night promotions
   

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated coaching skills, supervisory experience preferred.
• Driving: Valid and clean NC License and Insurance.
• Education: High School or GED; Have a 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience College Degree Preferred.
• Positive service-oriented attitude.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects.

Salary : $68,000 - $70,000
